Pad Thai Recipe

This Pad Thai recipe is simple and easy to follow. Our sauce is vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredients for one serving:

  • 50 grams of dry rice noodles (soak them in warm water for at least 30 minutes before using)

  • 250 grams of chicken breast

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tablespoons of Eastern Blue Pad Thai sauce

  • 100 grams of bean sprouts

  • 1/4 cup of green onions

  • Ground peanuts

  • Lime wedge Instructions:

  1. Heat some oil in a pan or wok over medium heat.

  2. Add the chicken breast to the pan and cook until it is fully cooked and slightly browned.

  3. Once the chicken breast is cooked, push it to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the other side.

  4. Stir the egg gently until it is almost fully cooked, breaking it up into smaller pieces as you stir.

  5. Mix the chicken and egg together in the pan.

  6. Drain the soaked rice noodles and add them to the pan with the chicken and egg. Stir-fry the noodles with the chicken and egg until the noodles are soft and fully cooked. (Note: If using dry rice noodles from the grocery store, make sure to soak them in warm water for about 30 minutes before using.)

  7. Add 3 tablespoons of Pad Thai sauce to the pan and stir well to coat the noodles, chicken, and egg in the sauce.

  8. Add the bean sprouts and green onions to the pan and continue to stir-fry for a couple of minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.

  9. Remove the pan from the heat and garnish with ground peanuts.

  10. Serve the Pad Thai with a lime wedge on the side for squeezing over the dish.

Note: For a vegan option, you can replace the chicken breast with tofu or use a mix of vegetables instead of meat. Adjust the cooking time accordingly.

Enjoy your homemade Pad Thai!

Please note that these instructions are a general guideline. Feel free to adjust the cooking time and seasonings according to your taste preferences.
